How did you meet?
We met at high school and were best friends for many years, we would always be at each other’s houses and would go to the cinema and for dinners together. It was not until 12 years later that we realised it was something more and from then on we were inseparable.
When did you know they were the one?
It was one of those movie moments when you just suddenly realise he’s been in front of you the whole time.
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
Kindness, humour and his gentlemanly ways.
Who proposed and how?
He proposed after husky sledding in Andorra.
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
I first tried Penny in Halo and Wren but went back to the London store to try on the backless version. It’s was just so comfortable I didn’t want to take it off.
What was the best moment for you at your wedding?
One of the best moments at our wedding was deciding to step away to take sunset photos at the beach which our venue overlooked. It gave us an intimate moment to enjoy from afar and be really present with one another. We noticed a lot of our guests took the opportunity to do the same which made it even better.
Another special moment was when everyone surrounded us on the dance floor to Calvin Harris -Feel So Close. It felt surreal to be surrounded by our loved ones and get to witness everyone in a moment of joy like that together.
What were your favourite details?
My flower girls and Paige boys, cutting the cake with a sword (as tradition in Spain apparently), speeches and just seeing all my friends and family in one place.
What advice would you tell other brides?
Enjoy every single second.
Any standout vendors?
The venue Castillo de Tamarit were just amazing, the staff were out of this world.
