How did you meet?

We didn’t have the most romantic meeting by any means. We met on tinder and met up at a bar soon after. Neither of us thought it was going to be anything serious, as Michael was only in Australia temporarily as an international student.

How did you know they were the one?

I don’t think there was any one moment, we gradually just grew together and I got this sense of being content and calm with him. I couldn’t imagine being with anyone else.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

1. Intelligence
2. Caring nature
3. Supportive

Who proposed and how?

Michael proposed in December 2019. He was showing me his Grandpa’s house, which overlooks a lake in Michigan.

What was the best moment for you at the wedding?

Our first look- it was so nice being able to be together alone and away from everyone before the ceremony.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I had been looking at the Georgie V2 Lace version online for a while, I tried it on at the Gold Coast stockist and bought the dress off the rack that day!
My second dress, was an impulse buy from the MWL sample sale.

What were your favourite details?

I loved our floral arrangements.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Don’t worry about things you can’t control!

Any standout vendors?

Zingerman’s was AMAZING. We began planning whilst I was in Australia and Michael was in the USA. We were able to do things remotely in such a stress-free manner.
