How did you meet?
I was invited to a military graduation dinner through my sister, my sisters’ partner had a friend that was sitting at the table with his family, it was Doug. We gave each other a little smile and the rest is history.
How did you know they were the one?
I had a perfect feeling when I first met Doug, definitely might have been love at first site but I certainly never had any doubts about him.
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
He keeps me grounded
He is hilarious
He has my back in anything I do in life
Who proposed and how?Â
Picnic on a headland, I had planned a surprise 30th birthday for him, he found out about it and flipped the surprise into an engagement party with all our family and friends (which I invited haha)
What was the best moment for you at the wedding?
Walking down the aisle and seeing Doug 🙂 it was such a perfect moment and he looked so happy
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
Made with love showroom Gold Coast
I had it on my list of dresses to try on, had it screenshotted in my phone for ages!
First dress I tried on and fell in love immediately
What were your favourite details?
My flowers were stunning, white and blush roses with orchids
Everyone seemed to be so happy and having the best time! It was just so great so be there with all our favorite people
What advice would you tell other brides?
Be calm and present
