How did you meet?

Matt and I were in College Station for an LSU game and having drinks. I heard someone behind me sneeze, so I turned around and said, “I’d say God Bless You but it looks like he already did”. Next thing you know we were getting married after almost 7 years.

When did you know they were the one?

I knew when he came over for the first time and loved on my dogs more than me.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He’s the silliest and smartest person I’ve ever met. Never fails to make me laugh or smile.

Who proposed and how?

He proposed. He planned on doing it at a pier overlooking a lake while the sun was setting. I just so happened to not eat all day and was slightly hangry so he skipped it, took me to get food then proposed in our kitchen. He said, “I know when I asked if you wanted a ring or a house, you said house. Now you can have both”

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I saw it online so many times and it was the perfect simple, elegant vibe just for me.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

My favourite moment had to be every person on the dance floor at all times.

What were your favourite details?

The greenery. I had all black and white details, white roses and orchids with tropical greenery. Something most people don’t do in Texas.

What advice would you tell other brides?

It’s about you and your husband. No one else. Don’t sweat the small things because no matter what, you’ll have the time of your life.
