How did you meet?

We met 10 years ago at a friend’s birthday party. I wasn’t feeling 100% that night and wasn’t going to go! I am so glad I did, he made me laugh and asked me out on a date the next day…we have travelled the world together, bought a house, have 2 sausage dogs and have built an amazing life together.

When did you know they were the one?

As silly as it sounds, I thought he was the one very early. I always knew there was something special about him. His humour, honesty and his ability to keep me grounded. We have built a strong friendship which has been the foundation of our relationship.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Patience, sense of adventure and humour.

Who proposed and how?

Luke proposed at home, I came home and he had “Will you marry me?” dog collars on our 2 sausage dogs. I looked up and he was on one knee with the ring!

What was the best moment for you at the wedding?

It was just me and my husband at the wedding. We started our day going out for breakfast, going for a run and a swim… not your typical wedding morning but for us it was perfect. Relaxing and low key- totally us.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I initially saw the dress online but when I went into the MWL store in Sydney, St Ives. The standout for me was the low back with the lace. It was the first dress I tried on and it fit like a glove, I knew straight away.
