How did you meet?

A Tinder success story from over 5 years ago. With no mutual friends prior to meeting, who knows if we ever would have crossed paths otherwise. It makes all the not so great Tinder dates prior worth it to have found my person amongst a sea of profiles.

When did you know they were the one?

I am not sure I can describe the exact moment that I knew my husband was the one, but I do know that it didn’t take me long to work out that he was my person. Within a few months of meeting we were traveling to India, moving in together and tackling major career milestones with each other. And everything always felt so easy and loving, I couldn’t imaging life without him.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His sense of humour, his unflagging work ethic and his calm and easy going nature.

Who proposed and how?

He proposed with a perfect sunset picnic complete with champagne and charcuterie board overlooking the countryside during a surprise weekend getaway he had arranged. So romantic!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I tried on my Ryder Crepe dress in the Gold Coast boutique and was drawn in by her simple but elegant style. The moment I put my dress on, she made me feel confident and beautiful. My mum and sisters came along for the appointment and all teared up when I put my dress on, and I knew this was the dress for me!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Very hard to choose between hearing each others vows during the ceremony (so many emotions!) or tearing it up on the dancefloor with our nearest and dearest well into the night.

What were your favorite details?

Our floral were definitely a highlight of the day, our vision was of pastel florals with a whimsical and romantic feel and they turned out so perfectly! The other highlight was the pearl details on my outfit; my MWL pearl veil, earrings and bracelet added complemented the classic feel of my Ryder dress.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Finding your dream wedding dress can be so much fun. Your dress should make you feel like the best version of yourself, and what makes you feel this way might surprise yourself, and your bride squad.
