How did you meet?

We met our senior year of college at Ohio State. We were quickly grew to be best friends, and started dating several months later. We got married on our seven year anniversary.

When did you know they were the one?

Neither of us remember a specific moment. Instead, I think we slowly realized that we never wanted to be without one another, and couldn’t imagine a world without being together forever.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His thoughtfulness, his endless energy, and how he treats others.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

Hyde Park Bridal in Cincinnati, OH. It fit me like a glove and hugged me exactly right. It was simple and clean, yet still stunning with just the right amount of detail! It was SO comfortable and lightweight for our outdoor summer wedding.

Who proposed and how?

My husband Ian proposed to me in the backyard of our home in Columbus, OH. It was so intimate and heartfelt. Immediately afterward, he surprised me with two engagement parties, the first with our families at a wine bar and the second with our friends in downtown Columbus.
