How did you meet?

We met in our early teens through a mutual friend and I think we were each other’s delayed ‘high school sweethearts’, from the moment we met we clicked and best friends we became!

When did you know they were the one?

I always said I wanted to marry someone that was my best-friend and it ended up being him. After years of him in the friend zone he escaped you can say and he was just my dream guy from the beginning (just took me a while to realise).

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He’s so Loving and has taught me to love better, very generous with his time to everyone if he can give he will give, always determined about his goals, work and about me.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I fell in love with MWL when I lived in Australia about 3-4 years ago, women being women we just stumble upon wedding inspiration and keep it stored away for that one day when. When I got engaged I already had an idea of what ‘type’ of dress I wanted – so I began the hunt of looking for a bridal shop that was local to me and with the style I preferred I stumbled onto Coco + Kate- who stocked MWL. I originally booked my appointment with Stevie dress on my mind but ended up loving a complete different style on me and Sadie stole my heart!

Who proposed and how?

Eliot, at the time Eliot was living and working about 4 hours away and because of timings and he crazy of life we hadn’t see each other for a month – so he planned a date day in London and took me to a place in London called Saint Dunstan in the East Church Garden (previously a church now a beautiful public garden). He had his best-friend place the ring in a specific spot + standby to film everything – we walked around for about 20 seconds and then he got down on one knee and proposed.

Where did you go to Honeymoon?

We travelled to the Maldives and Dubai in that order, we wanted to start of somewhere full of ultimate relaxation, lots of sun and fresh food, and of course wanted to end the trip shopping with a bit of city life.
