How did you meet?

David and I met in high school and began dating senior year. We both went off to college and navigated the bumps of long distance. After college, we moved in together and began our adult lives. After 4 years of living together, David got down on 1 knee at one of our favorite parks in Portsmouth, NH.
We had the most magical wedding in Thornton, NH in The White Mountains. It was modern, chic, & cozy. Archie by MWL made the entire wedding and set the tone of the day!

When did you know they were the one?

David and I have always been close at heart and best friends since high school.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Calmness, sense of humor, & smile

Who proposed and how?

David planned the most strategic, perfect proposal! One of our best friends, Kiana is a professional photographer and was in town for a wedding. She had asked myself and David to dress up for some pictures for her photography portfolio. Little did I know, this was actually planned by David so he could propose and get pictures of the entire proposal, and get me dressed up! It was truly a perfect, most special moment.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I called a wedding dress shop called Vows in Watertown, MA who carries MWL and asked them specifically if they had Archie. The nice women on the phone said “of course!” And I booked an appointment that day to go try her on with my Mom. I tried Archie on first and instantly knew she was the one. The simple, elegant front but the spice and sexiness of the back was exactly what I was looking for. I tried on a couple other MWL dresses, but ultimately Archie was the one and we placed our order that day!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Ceremony was by far my favorite moment at the wedding. The look of the room, the elegance of our guests, the warm, heart felt tears falling from our guests, the raw emotion coming from everyone, and our personal vows. It was picture perfect. That moment with David is one I will never forget. My brother was also our officiant, which made it even more special.

What were your favourite details?

Our wedding was very detail oriented! The white rose & white orchid flowers were to perfect. The crisp, clean November air. The look of the tables with the gold linens and charger plates. The band!!!! The band was the absolute best. These are just to name a few. We also had an opening night celebration open to all of our guests, over 100 people came, and it was basically like a mini wedding the night before! So, so perfect.

What advice would you tell other brides?

It sounds cheesy, but soak it allllll in! Try your hardest to let time slow down day of, and really take in the small moments of the day. It is truly the most magical day ever.
