Courtney + Antonio

How did you meet?

They met in college. Antonio played football and Courtney ran track. Antonio was practicing with the team and saw Courtney running around the track at her practice. He asked around to find out who she was. As fate would have it, they later were introduced at a college party and the rest is history!

When did you know they were the one?

Both knew within only a couple days of meeting and before we were even dating. They were hanging out and began to talk about their families, values, and goals. They ended up chatting for 6 hours straight, neither one realizing how long it had been until it was already 4 in the morning. Both knew instantly after that the “love at first sight” feeling they had both had from a few days before, was not just in their heads.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Family Values
Sense of humor
Compassion and kindness

Who proposed and how?

Antonio proposed at a New Jersey beach that Courtney had grown up going to with her family every year since she was little. He surprised Courtney with a romantic beach picnic set up in a secluded area, complete with chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne. After, he surprised Courtney further with a dinner where both families were present to celebrate the engagement.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

Courtney fell in love with her dress at Harper+Ivory Bridal in Cleveland, Ohio. The cutest little small business located on the corner of a bustling street, Courtney brought her closest friends and family and tried on all things Made with Love. Elsie was just the 3rd dress she tried on and instantly knew it was the one.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Both Courtney and Antonio agreed that the best moment was the moment they said “I do.” Walking back down the aisle together, as partners for life, and out of the church to celebrate with their family are moments they will cherish forever.

What were your favorite details?

Courtney especially loved that her dress had two looks—with the shoulder bows and without. It made for amazing, romantic pictures for the ceremony with the bows, and a sleek and fun look for the party.

Antonio also proposed with Courtney’s grandma’s ring. Courtney will forever cherish using her grandmother’s ring to signify her and Antonio’s love for the duration of their marriage

What advice would you tell other brides?

Follow your heart and simplify the process. At the end of the day, this day is to celebrate the partnership with your significant other. Whether the day goes perfect or not, you get to wake up everyday for the rest of your life with your best friend. That, alone, is more than perfect.
