How did you meet?
It was a Hospital romance, we are both nurses and one day he waited to walk me into work with his umbrella so I wouldn’t get soaked from the rain. He then started sending flowers and found out my coffee order which is definitely the way to my heart.
How did you know he was the one?
When we discussed our values and goals and realised we both wanted the same things in life and to achieve them together.
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
Gentle, selfless & the greatest father.
Who proposed and how?
Aaron proposed at home after I fell asleep and ruined his sunset beach proposal (I was struggling with terrible morning sickness).
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
MWL at the Gold Coast. I was sure Andy was the dress for me and although stunning it didn’t give me the ‘feeling’ that Flynn did. Always try a few it’s true that you don’t know until it’s on! Flynn has a stunning lower back while still being classy and the lace is beyond beautiful!
What was the best moment for you at the wedding?
Getting to the end of the aisle to Aaron, the anticipation and nerves all left and I knew I was right where I needed to be.
What surprised you most at or about your wedding?
How surrounded with love I would feel for the entire time. There was an energy all around of happiness and love that is unexplainable.
What advice would you tell other brides?
Don’t loose perspective, it’s about the marriage not the wedding.
What did you do differently?
It was a weekend long event, a festival of love, glamping and bonfire brekky to continue the celebration.
