How did you meet?

AJ and I met in High School, and were one year apart. We were dating other people and actually went on a mini golf double-date, together. Other than that, we never really hung out.
Several years after High School, AJ would come in to get a haircut by my co-worker and we’d exchange a quick “hello” or “how’s it going? After months of small talk, it eventually turned into a crush. We planned to hang out and grab some drinks with mutual friends. Our connection was instant and the rest is history.

When did you know they were the one?

When he told me straight forward he wanted to do life with me and I couldn’t have agreed more.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He’s loving- has a heart of gold and is always caring about others.
He’s funny – always knows how to make me and others laugh.
He’s charming – he has beautiful blue eyes, great hair, and a smile that lights the room.

Who proposed and how?

AJ proposed on the first night of our vacation to Ft. Meyers, Florida. He was pretty adamant that he wanted to watch the sunset together. On a walk down the beach, he got down on one knee and even had an undercover photographer capture the moment.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

“Made With Love” (Instagram) – The second I saw it, I knew I had to have it. I loved the deep V in the front, the low scoop in the back and the big lace pattern. When I tried it on, I was even more obsessed with it!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

The first look. The special moment when AJ turned around and we read each others vows. It was extremely special to me.

What were your favourite details?

My Christie Nicolaides earrings, my shoes and my boho dried flowers.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Enjoy your day and don’t sweat the small stuff.

Any standout vendors?

DJ Mike (@Djmadmike). Approaching the venue, we found out that our Pastor was in the hospital. Our DJ said that he’s ordained. He absolutely nailed the ceremony and saved the day! Not to mention, his DJ’ing was SO good and he got the party going.
