How did you meet?

We met in high school but didn’t act on our feelings just yet. We shared intense looks across the hallway and hoped to see the other one in between classes. Fast forward, we meet again 8 years later. He was leaving in London working as a musician and producer. I was studying in Zürich. I heard he was playing near my house, so thought it would be nice to go and watch him. From there, we started travelling back and forth from London to Zürich, surprising the other one and spending amazing week-ends abroad. I finally ended up moving to London in March 2020 –> TADA lockdown…. best time of our lives. The rest is history…

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He is so HUMBLE and so talented! He helps everyone and has the biggest heart.
He is so CONSIDERATE. He will never hurt me on purpose and is super attentive to what I like or dislike, he just listens and always tried to improve his person.
He is so FUNNY. He just has the best humour!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I had tried many dresses on before and they were so pretty but I didn’t fell in love with any of them. I though plunging necklines suited me well and wanted a fitted dress but couldn’t find anything dress with all those attributes in the boutiques I went to. I saw the LOUIE FITTED online and knew it was my dress. I had no MWL vendor close by (living in the Canaries Islands at the time), so I contacted your boutique in Australia and asked if I could order online. They put me in contact with amazing Tove from your London boutique. She was so so helpful that crazily enough I ordered my dress online, without ever trying it on before. I didn’t sleep the next 2 days, thinking maybe I had done something stupid. When the dress arrived it was made for my body! Except for 1 cm to take on the shoulders, it fitted perfectly and it didn’t need any alteration! LOUIE FITTED is perfect. So elegant, the details and work behind them are amazing and yet so light and fun. I combined it with crepe wings! JUST PERFECT!

Who proposed and how?

He proposed all cozy-ied up at home. After an intense period for me at work, I arrived home late one day. He was cooking one of our favorite dishes (carbonara!) and had bought champagne to “celebrate that I was finally on holidays and that I had worked so hard”. He told me to take a long hot shower and get confortable. I did. When I returned to the kitchen, I put some music on and started dancing (which I often do). He joined. Then he asked me to close my eyes. When I opened them again, he had the most incredible roses’ bouquet! I started tearing up from the sweetness and thoughtfulness of the gesture and he said “why are you ALREADY crying?”. I did not get it. That is when he took out the ring and proposed. I said yes. We were both sitting on the kitchen floor, nice music on and over-cooked pasta on the stove. He told me “I wanted to do a grand gesture, but when I saw you dancing on the kitchen I felt this was it, I just wanted this to be our lives forever”….

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

We eloped in a Greek island, Kefalonia! Our day was the most magical! We were able to say our vows in this intimate setting, in front of the ocean. We were so emotional, I will never forget this moment. Still can’t believe I had the chance to marry my best friend.

What were your favourite details?

Just EVERYTHING was perfect. We had an amazing scenery, an ocean view, the sound of the crickets, beautiful flower decorations, lights and music. I felt amazing in Louie, so light and elegant. My sister and mom surprised us with a video and a letter, it was the nicest touch. And my now-husband was extremely handsome.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Take it easy. Whatever happens, it’s no big deal. Take time for your partner and yourself on this special day. It will pass so fast. Take every instant in, consciously and intensively, like taking a mental picture of your feelings, emotions and sensations on the day.
