How did you meet?

My husband and I met in 2016 on Tinder. We both swiped right and fell in love.

When did you know they were the one?

Right from the beginning – nothing I said scared him off. He wanted to be part of my plan!

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He is my calm.
He looks at me like I am the only one in the room.
He is an amazing father.

Who proposed and how?

My husband proposed to me when we did our family Christmas shoot at a Tree Farm outside of Toronto. I had won a Christmas family shoot and he planned the proposal with the photographer and completely caught me off guard. It was amazing.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I searched every bridal boutique that sold Made With Love, and I was originally looking at a different style. My bridal consultant listened to my requests (I was looking for a light weight dress that was different and wouldn’t get wrinkled) and she brought out the Louie. I loved the way it felt on my body and how it was so light weight – perfect for a vineyard wedding in Portugal. I tried it on 4 times in between trying other dresses and I couldn’t wait to put it back on. My consultant put a veil on and that was it – I started crying and I knew it was the one!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Our first look. It was just the two of us and I was so excited for my husband to finally see me in my dress! It was so magical. Our ceremony was also extra special because I daughter was able to be part of it

What were your favourite details?

The location where we got married. It was so beautiful and green.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Try to make time for small moments with just you and your partner, away from everyone else.

Any standout vendors?

My photographers- The Framers. They were amazing and the pictures they captured portrayed exactly what we wanted – candid moments from the happiest day of our lives.

Our décor – Amore E Lima. They made our venue stand out with beautiful details of white flowers throughout

My wedding planner – Stacey Marquez. She was amazing from start to finish and listened to everything we wanted.
