How did you meet?

Bobby and I met on Tinder six years ago. Something that I have always felt shy about telling people, and never told my parents in the six years we had been together. Bobby thought it would be a good idea to tell them during the grooms speech!

When did you know they were the one?

I think for me the moment I found out I was pregnant I noticed a change in Bobby. He immediately became a father in that moment and I knew I would never have to worry about anything and he would be there for me.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He is an amazing father
His sense of humour
His generosity towards friends and family

Who proposed and how?

Bobby proposed on evening of my baby shower! We had just come back home and I walked into our lounge to hundreds of candles laid out and my ring in the middle of the room.
I probably should mention he lit the candles six hours beforehand and left them unattended on a bare wooden floor until we returned home!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I have always wanted a full sequin dress. I’m not into traditional bridal styles and I’ve known about MWL for a while and followed on social media. I knew Lola was the one before I even tried her on. I found her at the MWL London boutique, and after trying on 7 different styles I knew she was for me! I used a fabulous seamstress who changed the neckline slightly, making it more sweetheart.

What was the best moment for you at the wedding?

Our entrance into the wedding breakfast. We wanted a PARTY! We aren’t into traditional wedding themes and so we entered to Calvin Harris with a saxophonist and bongo player and had a dance with all our friends and family before dinner!

What were your favourite details?

The flowers! We used Artiflor. I had a colour scheme in mind and those ladies took it and absolutely blew me away!

What advice would you tell other brides?

Don’t sweat the small stuff! If anything goes ‘wrong’ or doesn’t happen at the right time, you’re the only person who will know and it’s not going to ruin anyone else’s time! And, let your hair down and enjoy yourself – you spend so long planning this day to not.
