How did you meet?

High School sweethearts – We went on a 30-day summer school hosted Europe Trip and hit it off on the same beach in Athens Greece that my parents honeymooned at 25 years prior.

How did you know he was the one?

4 years of long distance in college and still being totally obsessed with each other was a good start! But, after college my (bride) father passed away and it took our partnership to a whole new level of love, support, commitment, and compassion.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His smile, loyalty, and tenderness.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

Love and Lace Bridal in Echo Park, Los Angeles. It was the FIRST dress I tried on and I remember telling my specialist (with a tear in my eye) that it was the one. It felt like it was made for me and I knew my fiancé would love it.

Who proposed and how?

He proposed on our 10-year anniversary in 2018 – we took a helicopter ride through Downtown Los Angeles, where we landed in the hills of Malibu and he poped the question!

What was the best moment for you at the wedding?

The Wedding Ceremony – the amount of love that was surrounding and between us was overwhelming. So many tears!!!

What surprised you most at or about your wedding?

How calm and at ease I felt all day and how fast the day went by. I remember taking mental “pictures” trying to slow every moment down.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Have FUN! A wedding should reflect the couple – so break rules, do what YOU want, compromise with your partner, and don’t take other peoples advice.

What was the one thing you did differently for your wedding?

My Mom walked me down the aisle & it was one of the MOST special moments of the entire day. We didn’t have a lot of “tradition,” (bouquet toss, cake cutting, first dance with parents, etc.) which made the day feel more organic and focused on us.
