Camille + Brandon

How did you meet?

We met on Tinder in London, Brandon was not going to stay in London for very long but that soon changed! We only talked for a couple of days before our first date. We went for a Christmas weekend away to Brussels on our third date!

When did you know they were the one?

I knew after our weekend trip to Brussels, we had gotten to know each other so much, which brought us even closer. I loved that his family were so important to him and that we shared the same values.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His positivity and outlook on life whatever the situation is. He always manages to find the funny sides of things.
I love his spontaneity which challenges me to do more things that I wouldn’t usually do.

Who proposed and how?

Brandon proposed in the South of France. It was meant to be in Italy but Covid changed those plans for him last minute. I nearly cancelled our weekend away, little did I know I would be cancelling my engagement…luckily that didn’t happen.
He had organised a photographer who was hiding behind some bushes to take pictures of the proposal. It was such a beautiful moment and in the most perfect place! The day after we then drove to my parents house to surprise them of our engagement.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

My sister got her wedding dress in the MWL London boutique a year before and as soon as I went to her appointment I knew I would be getting a dress from there too. I was looking at dresses for months and found a specific one at MWL that I wanted to try but the week before my appointment, Darcy was released and I instantly knew it would be the dress for me.
I tried on multiple dresses during my appointment but as soon as I tried on Darcy, my mum and sister cried and I instantly knew this was the one. I loved the 3D floral pattern and the matching belt around the waist that added the final delicate touch.
It was so perfect and I was so lucky it was released the week before, it was just meant to be!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

There were too many favorite moments for me to pick one. I loved starting the day getting ready with my girls, it was such a special moment. I loved that Brandon organised for us to take 5 minutes after our ceremony, just the two of us, to sit out in one of the cabins looking over the vineyards with a drink and some canapés there for us, to take it all in. The evening really does fly past and having that moment together was very special. I also loved dancing and partying with all our favorite people on the dance floor late into the night.

What were your favourite details?

Our flowers, we had a big floral ‘O’ arch made and placed at the end of the ceremony aisle which was so stunning. It was also meaningful and was the initial of our surname.
We also had the most beautiful runner of flowers on our head table which was so magical with the sunset behind us.
The live saxophone was also one of my favorites, it really did get everyone on the dance floor!

What advice would you tell other brides?

Enjoy every single moment with all your favorite people present all in one place. Don’t get caught up with any issues on the day, as it totally goes unnoticed.
