How did you meet?
We were highschool sweethearts, he’s a year older and on my prom he started calling me his girlfriend!
When did you know they were the one?
Deep down I always knew, we had our ups and definitely our downs. We had gotten in an argument (we didn’t live together at the time) he wanted me to come over. I was sick but he insisted. He had moved the bed to the living room and took care of me. We still talk about living room bed all the time!
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
He’s compassionate, honest and funny!
Who proposed and how?
He proposed to me at our favourite fishing spot, also the spot we got married.
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
Modern Bride in Guelph. I fell in love with Kennedy, she was different than anything I tried on and fit perfectly with my vision. I tired on others after her but nothing compared.
What was the best moment for you at your wedding?
Rolling up to the reception and seeing all of our friends and family together having fun we knew we were in for a good night!
What were your favourite details?
Our location for our wedding was beautiful and sentimental. As for the dress the sleeves were so dreamy.
What advice would you tell other brides?
When things seem like there not worth it or or feels like it’s too much, don’t worry it’s completely worth the hard work and stress.
