How did you meet?
We met at work. We now work together running a business.
When did you know they were the one?
When I saw him with his family. He has nieces and nephews and he adores them. It melted my heart and I knew right then that I wanted to be with him forever.
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
His humour, he doesn’t take life so seriously or cares what anyone thinks he just lives life and his work ethic!
Who proposed and how?Â
Tanner proposed! We went canoeing that day. He knows how much I love being on the water. We found a cove and stopped, listened to music and had some drinks. We were dancing and he got pretty sentimental. That’s when he got down on one knee and proposed. I was in complete shock! He picked out the ring all by himself and I must say, I couldn’t have picked it out any better myself!
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
Bride. KC!! OMG I’m in love with their bridal experience and I loved a lot of your dresses. I pictured myself in something more like Harlow, but when I tried Archie on, there was something magical about it! I couldn’t believe I loved it so much. It fit in all the right places and I didn’t want to take it off. It was absolutely perfect for our beach wedding. Also timeless. I will love my dress forever
What was the best moment for you at the wedding?
Our vows. We were laughing then crying then laughing again, including all of our guests. We wrote our own vows and they were very special to us. This moment I will never forget.
What were your favourite details?
Our sign! I loved the flowers that surrounded our neon sign. I also loved our flowers in general. Soft, elegant, just like the dress!
What advice would you tell other brides?
Do research on your favourite designers first then find a shop that carries the designer. I didn’t know what I was doing and I got very overwhelmed. I went to three shops in one day (big mistake). I then did my research and went to Bride.KC the next weekend where it was a totally different experience.
Any standout vendors?
Bride.KC (of course) and our photographer/videographer Amor Amor Weddings, the were amazing!
