How did you meet?
Met on Hinge (dating app) right before the pandemic and were quickly put to the ultimate test. Months into dating my husband’s father had to put his foot down on us going back and forth between houses as his health wasn’t in a good state. So we decided he would move into my family’s home. Where we would then spend DAY IN AND DAY OUT together.
When did you know they were the one?
2 weeks into dating I knew he was the one I wanted to spend my life with because I couldn’t go a day without being with him.
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
Thoughtful, loving and patient.
Who proposed and how?
Matthew proposed with candles leading into the backyard under a lovely decorated gazebo with twinkle lights.
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
Ceremony bridal in barrie, I had about 6 dresses picked out two from me and the others from my family. After the second dress, I said I’m not focused on this right now because I know which dress I’ve wanted since day one. The Elsie dress and when I tried it on it all fell into place just like I had imagined and I had instant tears.
What was the best moment for you at your wedding?
The best moment was seeing everything fall into place how we had been planning for years and my first intimate look with my husband.
What advice would you tell other brides?
All the stress is totally worth it for that day, seeing your vision come to relatively is truly magical.
