How did you meet?

We met through the dating app Happn. “Crossed paths” at Coogee beach then had our first date at Terrey Hills Tavern.

When did you know they were the one?

I knew pretty early on that he was the one for me, I just was totally myself with him and he accepted me straight away.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner

Hilarious, Generous, Trustworthy.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I actually fell in love with my dress at the MWL showroom while trying on dresses. I had been following MWL for ages and had my heart set on Stevie. When I came in to try it on I loved it, then Bec said she had another dress in Sydney for a photo shoot that hasn’t been released yet and it was going back to Queensland the next day. She said I could try it on. It was Carla and I absolutely fell in love with it instantly. I knew then and there that was it.

Who proposed and how?

Andrew proposed in my home country of Canada at my favourite Lake (Moraine Lake). My family was around and I was not expecting it. He had carried the ring for the whole day trying to find the perfect time. He had it in his sock while doing an 8km mountain hike, a 1-hour canoe ride on Lake Louise. We finally got to Moraine Lake and we went for a walk along the lake and we went out to a lookout and he got down on one knee. My first response was really?? then of course yes. It meant the world to me that he did it in Canada with my family around.

What was the best moment for you at the wedding?

The best moment was hearing Andrew say his handwritten vows. He doesn’t normally express his feelings in front of people. To hear the beautiful words he had to say just made the day.
