How did you meet?
My husband and I met in college, but we didn’t start dating until years after graduation. We lived in different cities and he seemed to consistently be visiting for concerts or sporting events. Eventually, I caught on and realized he was visiting to see me. We dated long distance for a year and half and then I moved to his home city.
When did you know they were the one?
It wasn’t a specific ‘moment’, but I had no hesitation moving to his home city. I had quit my job (with no new prospects in my new city) and moved to a new city with no family or close friends. But I wasn’t scared or nervous that it was a dumb decision. I knew it was right and even though we didn’t get engaged for another year, the move and adapting to a new city was worth it.
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
He’s an amazing father, always keeps me laughing and is incredibly patient!
Who proposed and how?
He proposed to me the week before Covid shut down the world. He flew my parents in and proposed on a dock at his family’s lake. Our parents were watching from a boat and came to pick us up after to celebrate on a sunset cruise.
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
I first saw my dress online and managed to find a retailer that carried it. We were a Covid wedding so this dress was purchased two and a half years ago when we originally had our wedding planned. I’m so happy it still fits and I could wear it for our wedding celebration (finally)!!! Right after I originally purchased my dress, we decided to postpone our wedding but wanted to continue with our plans on starting a family. Once my dress finally arrived, my MIL asked if I wanted to try it on and I told her I was feeling bloated and didn’t want to try on a tight dress….little did I know I was pregnant with our daughter!
What was the best moment for you at your wedding?
Our daughter was at our wedding celebration and my husband walked her down the aisle. Once she saw me walking down the aisle, her reaction was priceless – I’m
So happy she could be there to celebrate with us!
What were your favorite details?
We got married on an LED dance floor and I LOVED it!
What advice would you tell other brides?
Enjoy the day and soak in all the love!

The venue was perfect and our photographer, Grace Torres, was incredible!
