How did you meet?

We met in high school in New Zealand when we were both 15 years old, been together now 14 years, met at a party, classic high school!

When did you know they were the one?

When I was watching Love Actually and I was to busy staring at him rather than watching the movie. I just looked at him and I knew he was mean’t to be my husband one day.!

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He’s funny, can always make me laugh no matter the situation. He will do anything for his friends and family, will back them to the end of the earth. And he’s an amazing cook, if I could eat Karl’s crispy chicken everyday I would.

Who proposed and how?

He did, took him 13 years but he got there! We hiked 900m to the top of Devil’s Thumb in Banff Canada and he popped the question at the top! May have taken him 13 years but it was 100% worth the wait haha!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I saw it on instagram even before we got engaged and had it saved as a screenshot. Once I started looking for dresses I completely forgot about ‘Summer’, I went to a trunk show in Auckland, NZ and saw it and knew straight away that was the one! I came back to London and ordered it straight away!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Honestly all of it, since we eloped it wasn’t very conventional. But we saw Dolphins and shooting stars so it was the most perfect day imaginable.

What were your favourite details?

Of the dress, the lace how it went from the bodice down to the skirt of the dress, and of course the slit (made it abit sexy). From the actual day the boat, it was absolutly perfect and made us feel like we were in a movie!

What advice would you tell other brides?

I think most brides would say, but stay in the moment, it can be stressful and nerve-racking but enjoy every single moment of it!

Any standout vendors?

Our photographer and Videographer Mario and Andrea! They were absolutely amazing and made our elopement experience so perfect in everyway! Not only did they take amazing photos and videos but they also helped us plan the whole day, gave us amazing locations we never would have found on our own!
