How did you meet?

We meet through mutual friends at a music festival. I asked him for a shoulder ride and we had the best day running around to all the different stages and spent the rest of the day together . We instantly felt like best friends.

When did you know they were the one?

From the very beginning, everything was so easy between us right from start.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Anthony is confident, funny, successful and the most amazing partner to me. I feel so incredibly lucky to have a partner who treats me so beautifully.

Who proposed and how?

We were in Hamilton Island on holiday. We had set up a picnic to watch the sunset up on a hill and had a picked up a seafood platter and champagne. Anth said do you know what would make this even better? With food on the brain i said hot chips lol to which he replied ‘if you would be my wife?’ I turned around to see him holding a sparkly diamond ring.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I first saw Harlow on Instagram and fell in love. She was the first ever wedding dress I tried on, my mum and bestie both started crying the second they saw me in it. I tried on some other wedding dresses after however nothing compared to her.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

The speeches! There is something really special about hearing the people who mean most to you talk about you as people and your relationship. They were all equally as humours as they were heartfelt and I was overwhelmed by the love in the room.

What were your favourite details?

I really loved that we had a small guest list and that our wedding was so intimate. The seating plan was not set out like traditional wedding where the bridal party sits on a long table at the front looking onto the guests. Instead we sat on a square table with our bridal party in the middle of the room, it felt more like a cosy dinner party with our closest friends and family than your typical wedding reception.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Trust that everything will be worth it in the end. Our wedding was one of the happiest days of our lives. We had two postponements due to Covid, it was a interstate which was so stressful with border closures and travel vaccine mandates. At times i wondered if it was going to be worth it and wanted to give up. I am SO glad we pushed through and stuck with our original plan because the day was everything we dreamt of and more.

Any standout vendors?

Our celebrant Cara from Modern Love Ceremonies. From the moment we met her we could tell what a beautiful person she was. She is so sweet and warm and did the most amazing job. We wanted our ceremony to be light-hearted and not too serious and it was exactly that!
