How did you meet?

We met through mutual friends after high school although we went to the same schools from elementary through high school.

When did you know they were the one?

I knew he was the one when we became parents together.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

His love for his children, his humor, and his beliefs.

Who proposed and how?

He proposed during our family photos on a beach at sunset in Maui last year. It was a complete surprise. He figured out my ring size with the help of my mom a year prior.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I fell In love with my dress at Flares in Walnut Creek, Ca. It fit my body perfectly, I fell in love with the corset top and the 3D florals added the perfect touch of modernism while having a very classic silhouette.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

The best moment was being with our two sons back on a beach in Hawai’i to read our vows to one another.

What were your favorite details?

It rained 30 minutes prior to our ceremony and then cleared up. We said our vows to one another with our toes in the sand in front of family and friends. We had two local musicians play a few of our favorite songs including “Wicked Games” by The Weeknd. My best friend and her mother created our floral arch as well as the florals for our bridal party. A turtle happened to beach himself next to our ceremony site during the ceremony (rain + turtle = all the good luck). We also had the most amazing local photographer capture all of these unforgettable moments.
