How did you meet?

We met at a family gathering on Christmas Eve, you could say our mums sort of set it up, but we really couldn’t stop talking, we had so much in common and the rest is history.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

The way he cares and looks after me
He always puts me first
His determination for success

Who proposed and how?

He proposed, 5 years later, the same day we met, on Christmas Eve. The same spot we had our first date. Could not have been more perfect.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

It was not the dress I envisaged myself wearing, my cousin pulled it out and said I had to try it on. I knew the moment I spun around with the Elsie bows on my shoulders.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

The ceremony. Standing up the front being surrounded by all our loved ones. I looked around after arriving with the biggest smile wondering how I got so lucky.

What were your favourite details?

My florals. And my Elsie bows.

Any standout vedours?

Our photographer, Kate Roberge, based in Queenstown, NZ.
She was so much more than a photographer, so helpful with all things weddings, right down to adjusting the corsages and bow ties, remembering my bouquet, driving us to the heli and so much more! She was such an integral part to our day.
