How did you meet?

We met at a mutual friends 21st birthday and had a connection instantly. We were basically inseparable from the get go and the rest is history.

When did you know they were the one?

I knew I wanted to marry Blake when I realised I couldn’t bear the thought of being apart from him which happened pretty quick after meeting him.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Blake has the most infectious personality and always has a way of making me laugh and smile, he has the biggest heart made of pure gold and he treats me like a queen and has made me gain so much self confidence.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I didn’t have Billie on my list of dresses to try on as it had only just been designed when I was looking and I hadn’t seen her before. I had my heart set on the Ella dress but before I had made my decision I asked the beautiful Rose from the Gold Coast MWL if she had any suggestions on dresses she thought would suit me. She pulled Billie out and I instantly fell in love. It was like no dress that I had seen before, so elegant and timeless. When I tried her on she fit like a glove and I just knew she was the one.

Who proposed and how?

Blake’s proposal was perfect in every single way. He organised a trip to Moreton Island with our closest friends and I was completely oblivious to the fact that he was planning to propose. He had all of our friends in on his plan and they set up a beautiful picnic on the top of a headland where Blake took me, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. He had thought of everything, from organising with my boss to give me the weekend off work to catching the whole proposal on film. After Blake had proposed, we got to celebrate our engagement with our nearest and dearest which made the whole thing that extra bit special.

Where did you go to Honeymoon?

We drove up to Airlie Beach towing our boat and took it over to Hamilton Island for the week. We had such an incredible time island hopping, relaxing and drinking plenty of cocktails.
