Aimee & Jack

How did you meet?

We met as children but it wasn’t until I was about 16 that Jack and I started hanging out and spending a lot of time together. He finally asked me to be his girlfriend around a year after that!

When did you know they were the one?

I’m not really sure to be honest! I guess you just know these things. I definitely think I may have known this when I realised how incredibly happy he makes me. Jack also does all the washing so that was definitely an indicator (haha!)

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

I love that jack is so kind and caring, he’s outgoing and loves a chat, and I also love that he is always willing to help others.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

Jack proposed on a trip away at the Binned Burra Lodge in the Gold Coast Hinterlands.  He got down on one knee and popped the question in this voice I have never heard before (and never heard again since) haha. He was shaking like a leaf and I was in complete shock. Of course it was a yes though!

Who proposed and how?

I fell in love with my dress online at Made With Love. When I had my booking to try dresses on I deliberately left that off the list as it was my absolute dream dress but a little more than we wanted to spend. I ended up trying the dress on for fun and just could not take it off. So we just had to make it work into our budget. I couldn’t leave without it! I loved it because the lace is amazing and it is everything I could have ever dreamt of in a dress. Lacey, fitted, a long train and a beautiful low back! Just stunning!

Where did you go to Honeymoon?

Noosa Heads for a little get away and we stayed at the Noosa Crest Resort… ahhhmazing! We definitely could have stayed there forever. Noosa is amazing!
