ANNUAL STYLIST EVENT 2021

For the first time in over 12 months our Australian boutique teams got together for a face to face catch up so, as you can imagine it was a very fun day! There was a lot of preparation behind the scenes and it all paid off! Our Sydney and Melbourne teams flew up to our Gold Coast HQ on Tuesday morning and started the day with a training session. The training focused around appointments and how we can provide the best service to our brides, as well as discussions about upcoming designs (eeee exciting!). We then left our HQ and headed to beautiful Burleigh Heads for a celebratory lunch at Rick Shores.

We have boutiques in Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast and in London. Our boutique teams are made up of our managers and stylists.  These teams are the face of MWL and see our lovely MWL brides every single day!

Since it was such a special occasion to get all of our stylists from our Australian MWL boutiques together for the first time in over a year (thanks Covid!), we really wanted to mark the occasion and give them each a special gift.  Thanks to the generous contributions of some amazing local Gold Coast and Australian brands we were able to put together a goodie bag for our stylists to take home that they’ll never forget!

Our stylists were gifted the most beautiful earrings from our favourites over at VALÉRE! Owner and designer, Samantha Lowe says “VALÉRE was born out of a desire to fill the world with something beautiful, something raw, something romantic & straight from the heart”. We are so obsessed with everything that VALÉRE does and use their pieces in all of our shoots so we thought it was only fitting to share that love with our stylists. The earrings are from VALÉRE’s Bloom collection; “a collection inspired by the beauty of our internal femininity which is ever evolving and blooming into greatness”. Petal + Pup

Our stylists were given the comfiest loungewear from Petal + Pup. We are HUGE fans of Petal + Pup here at MWL and their loungewear is nothing short of amazing. The pieces are perfect for our stylists to wear while relaxing with a glass of wine on their days off. Petal + Pup is an online boutique, with their HQ based locally in Brisbane and is the perfect destination for a dose of retail therapy and bridesmaid dresses 😉. They always have the most up to date styles and are perfect for styling the ultimate #OOTD! The loungewear was presented wrapped in tissue paper at the lunch table featuring our signature, perfect MWL bow of course!

HiSmile are the experts in smile care! In the gift bags, our stylists were given some of  HiSmile’s new formula, PAP+ Toothpaste – “an effortless and effective whitening treatment”. When we heard that James Cosmetics were on board to gift our stylists some of their luxury 24K Rose Gold Hydrate and Anti-Ageing Eye Masks we were SO excited! We absolutely adore local Gold Coast brand Cedar and Stone‘s commitment to education and increasing awareness surrounding the importance of natural and organic living that not only supports a healthy self, but also a healthy planet! My Glow 2

Inspired by ancient exfoliation practices and holistic beauty rituals, the My Glow 2 brand was born! Each of our stylists received the My Glow 2 Original Glove with uniquely woven silk that easily removes dead skin and impurities.
