How did you meet?

Gordie and I met nearly 12 years ago, we had mutual friends and then it all went from there.

When did you know they were the one?

It was early 2012 and we had just come back from BDO on the Gold Coast, I knew from then on we were “it” and been together ever since..

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

My 3 favourite attributes would be,
He’s funny.
He always has my back.
And put myself and our 2 boys first always.

Who proposed and how?

Gordie proposed last year in December up in Airlie Beach after waiting 10 years.
We were at Northlies Pub with our kids and no one was around and he took me completely by surprise. It was so special

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I got my dress from Gladstone Bridal, I always dreamed and knew I was going to wear a Made with Love gown.. but Tilly wasn’t my first choice, the lady at the shop was like “why don’t you try the Tilly on”… I looked at my sister and thought why not, “we’re here”. I fell in love with it straight way. It was simple and so elegant at the same time.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Can I even pick one moment? But if I had to choose, my favourite part of our wedding would be the ceremony.. it was so special, we wrote our own vows (we aren’t ones to ever confess our love for each other) everything was so beautiful and full of love surrounded by our most favourite people.

What were your favourite details?

The colours, I knew I wanted bright and fun.. and for everyone to have a good time, it was 10 years in the making
Gordie and I are very casual, down to earth people. I love everything looking nice, but still keeping it simple.
