Taylah + Brendan

How did you meet?

My husband and I met on a dating site – plenty of fish. We talked non-stop and quickly went on our first date and as cheesy as it is the rest was history.

How did you know they were the one?

I knew very quickly that he was the one, I always used to ask my friends when I was in previous relationships how they knew and no one can actually tell you they all just say “when you know you know” and when I met my husband that’s exactly how I felt.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He is so quirky, handsome and so lovely to me

Who proposed and how?

My husband proposed to me. We went on a hot air balloon ride in the Hunter Valley in NSW and knew that he could not do it in front of people as I do not like the attention as I don’t know how yo react when there is attention. He planned with the company to get myself and him alone as the hot air balloon was deflating but I thought we would get in trouble going to the back of the balloon so I quickly ruined that for him. We then had breakfast at one of the wineries and we went for a little walk afterwards and as soon as there was no one in sight he got on his knee.

What was the best moment for you at the wedding?

When we were announced husband and wife for the first time and had our kiss and everyone celebrating for our love as we walked back down the aisle .

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I found your company online first and then found a retailer close to home that sold your brand as I couldn’t travel to Sydney because of COVID. I knew as soon as I saw it in the shop that it was the one for me, I chose the Sienna with tulle dress and it was just perfect for me, I loved that it was fitting at the top but had the flow around my hips and loved the beading on this dress.

What were your favourite details?

I loved everything about our wedding , I couldn’t fault it, I just still love hearing that everyone had such a good as that’s all we wanted for everyone.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Not to stress, it’s a hard thing not to do, but just to enjoy every moment of the day.
