Jenna + Andy

How did you meet?

Andy & I met in college, Junior year. We had mutual friends but officially met at a bar while out with friends. We lived in the same apartment complex so hung out often right after meeting.

How did you know he was the one?

Honestly, immediately after meeting I knew something was different and that I could see myself marrying him. Later on, I found out Andy had the same feeling right away. They say when you know, you know.. and it was true for us!

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Andy is very caring, thoughtful, and funny!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

The Stevie dress was one of the first dresses I saw on Pinterest when searching right after I got engaged. I googled where I could find it & made an appointment at a place it was sold near my home. It was the first dress I tried on & ended up loving it! It was exactly what I had dreamt of.

Who proposed and how?

We were on a trip with my family in Banff Canada. We did a day trip up to Athabasca Glacier where Andy proposed in front of my family on the Glacier. Only my dad knew so it was a complete surprise for my mom, sisters and of course me!

What was the best moment for you at the wedding?

Andy & I went out into the desert to take sunset photos during cocktail hour. We took a break from our photos to just watch the sunset against the mountains by ourselves. We could see the venue and all our guest in the distance enjoying the evening. It was nice to just have a moment the 2 of us, taking it all in. All of our favorite people in one place.

What surprised you most at or about your wedding

How well everything went & how amazing the weather was! We did a destination wedding in Arizona so most people flew in for it. We had the most amazing sunset the night of our wedding – It was so magical!

What advice would you tell other brides?

Don’t worry about anything on your wedding day! You did so much planning leading up to the day that you should just enjoy every second of it. You can’t change anything at that point so just have fun.
