Taylor + Michael
How did you meet?
Through mutual friends!
When did you know they were the one?
Both of us felt on our first date that we had met our perfect match. After we left we both called friends to tell them we had found our future husband/wife!
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
His kindness to me and to everyone around me. He is so loved by everyone because of it.
His dedication to improving himself, he is always up for a challenge and being the best he can be.
His sense of adventure, we’ve traveled to volcanoes, glaciers and rainforests together and he’s the best person to go on a long car ride with!
Who proposed and how?
Mike proposed at the base of a 200 foot waterfall in Vermont. I was totally surprised! He coordinated the whole thing with my mom and sister, who were all waiting for us at the end of the hike with champagne.
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
I found my dress at Everthine bridal in Madison Connecticut. The Harlow dress was the perfect amount of romantic and modern. I had the pebble lining added to give it even more of a soft look.
What was the best moment for you at your wedding?
Finally getting to hear our band live! We booked them during the pandemic so we didn’t get to meet them until our wedding day. They were unbelievable and we could not stop dancing!
What were your favourite details?
I decided to use the warmth of my dress and the July season to use a lot of pinks in my wedding. The warm colors have the day such a romantic feel!
What advice would you tell other brides?
It can be so easy to get caught in the little details about what went wrong or what is missing. But your guests will only see what is there, not what isn’t. So don’t lose sight of the bigger picture!
Any standout vendors?
Our band was incredible! The Boston Common Band.
My photographer and videographer were amazing – Alysia Kristen Photography and Danleigh Videography.
