Taylor + Jake
How did you meet?
Jake and I actually grew up in the same hometown but didn’t reconnect until after college.
When did you know they were the one?
At our first date we talked for hours and it felt like I was with someone I had known my whole life. He brought out the best in me and my friends and family saw that too.
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
He’s unfailingly loyal, funny, and a really good kisser!
Who proposed and how?
Jake proposed at my favorite place, Pioneer’s Park. We hiked on the trails and he pretended to take a picture of me when he dropped down to one knee. Our friends planned an amazing engagement party for us when we got back into town.
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
I fell in love with my dress at Rhylan Lang. I had actually picked it out online before going into the store. After putting a belt and wings on it I knew it was the one.
What was the best moment for you at your wedding?
My favorite moment at the wedding was reading out letters that we wrote each other. We did our first look prior to the ceremony and it was so special reading the letters.
What were your favourite details?
I was obsessed with my wings. It was such a unique feature. My flower girls were in awe of them.
What advice would you tell other brides?
Hire the videographer. The day goes by so quickly and the video allows you to see parts that you missed!

Our photographer Yoni Gill was amazing. I also had the best make up artist Abby Hubbard!
