How did you meet?

We met through mutual friends.

When did you know they were the one?

I knew he was the one right after our first date

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Three things that I love about my husband is that he has a huge heart, is intelligent and super caring.

Who proposed and how?

My husband proposed to me the night before Melbourne went into a lock down. We went for a drive and he “claimed” that he needed to “go to the bathroom” and so we drove to the closest public bathroom which happened to be at a lookout, overlooking the Melbourne skyline and the sea. We were just chatting and then he got down on one knee! It was a very private and intimate moment between just the two of us

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I fell in love with my dress at Made with Love Bridal Boutique in Malvern. The dress I chose wasn’t even the dress I had my eye on! The moment I put the dress on, I cried. It fit me like a glove and it just encapsulated simplicity and elegance which suited my style to a T!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

The best moment for me at my wedding was simply sitting at our long table, with 30 of our closest friends and family, eating and chatting and feeling so much love. Just soaking it all in.
(Also, the random wedding dance that we put together the day before!)

What were your favourite details?

One of them was my dress of course! I also loved that we had it on my in-laws property, my husband grew up there and it was a very sentimental place for him and now, us. We also got married on my parents anniversary and my grandparents anniversary and they both had very successful marriages. So the date is very special to me.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Don’t sweat the small stuff. At the end of the day it’s about celebrating YOUR love and YOUR commitment to your partner. Nothing else matters. Just sit back and enjoy the ride
