How did you meet?

We met in our local bar back in 2014.

When did you know they were the one?

I knew he was the one when he let me eat half of his Chinese food the night we met! Lol. We clicked straight away and couldn’t go a day without chatting and haven’t looked back since!

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

– Very loyal and loving
– Always knows how to make me laugh
– He is the hardest working person I know and puts everyone before himself

Who proposed and how?

He did! He took me away on a surprise night away for my birthday in 2020, and had plans to propose when we went out for a walk around the grounds after checking in, however the hotel staff had left a bouquet of flowers in the room on our arrival with a note titled ‘to my Fiancée’, so he got down on one knee there and then and the rest is history!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I first saw Made with Love on Instagram and absolutely loved all of their designs! I knew I wanted something modern and a bit different. I searched for my nearest stockist which was Ivy & White in Lisburn. I booked an appointment with the lovely Kerry, which unfortunately had to be rescheduled to a couple of weeks later due to covid restrictions at the time, but the new appointment date happened to fall during the Made with Love trunk show, so I got to see the full collection and finally said yes to my perfect dress – it was meant to be!
After I had chose my dress, I entered a competition on the Made with Love Europe Instagram page and won the matching Harlow veil, a pair of Pijouletta earrings and a headband of choice: I couldn’t believe it! It was so special and just added that little bit extra to my Made with Love experience!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

We chose to get married in a small local church and then travelled in style up to our venue. The car journey up to the venue was one of my favourite moments as it was the first time my husband and I got to chat about our mornings and all the excitement that was unfolding!

What were your favourite details?

Everything! But I particularly loved when our husky Misty joined us at our reception for a few photos, she was the dog of honour.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Don’t sweat the small stuff, it really is the best day of your life and whatever will be, will be on the day! – try to get some 1:1 time with your other half to take it all in together! Have fun!

Any standout vendors?

Our photographers (We are Soulful) were brilliant, as was our florist (Vintage Violet) who went above and beyond to bring our vision to life. Our videographer (Forever Endeavour Films) was amazing he captured the vibe of the day perfectly and we have been watching our highlight film on repeat!
