How did you meet?

Through friends.

When did you know they were the one?

When he handed me the aux cord in his car on our first date and said “you can play whatever you want”

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Thoughtful, kind hearted and a great listener!

Who proposed and how?

Daniel proposed to me on NYE after we put our little one to bed, sat down for dinner. I had my hair in a messy bun and sweaty clothes after a workout. He put on our song, Backstreet Boys – Shape of my heart and popped the question !

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I fell in love with the MWL Ryder Crepe at a small bridal boutique called Pearl Bridal House in Toronto. I loved the simplicity yet modernity of the dress. It was a vibrant, clean white look, paired with a Pearl veil to give it the timeless look I was searching for.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

When our son ran up to us for our first dance and we all danced together.

What were your favourite details?

Of the wedding- I loved the venue itself, it was historic and so rich in character and aesthetic. It needed such little decor and dressing up.

Of the dress- I absolutely loved the belt at the waist, it gave such a great touch of elegance to the dress.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Go with what makes YOU feel beautiful. Everyone has different opinions and style. You cannot search for a dress that will please everyone’s taste. Search for the dress that you feel most like yourself in.
