Rhiannon + Joshua

How did you meet?

My husband and I met at work which was on a dairy farm. I have always said I will marry a farmer and here we are! I saw him for the first when he drove by me on a tractor, I instantly said I am going to marry him one day and everyone thought I was crazy.

When did you know they were the one?

When I first layed eyes on him driving by in a tractor I knew I had to go after him. We starting seeing each other around the farm and instantly clicked. Chasing cows, driving tractors and getting down and dirty.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Josh is a very hard worker! He is patient which comes in handy.. and very caring. He is also a great fur baby parent to our 2 dogs.

Who proposed and how?

Josh proposed to me on our 4 year anniversary. We were at home having dinner and he told me he had organized dessert. He put a pizza box in front of me and as I opened it I saw a Nutella pizza in the shape of a love heart. I turned to look at him and he was on one knee with the ring box in his hands as he said will you marry me of course I said yes.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I fell in love with my dress in the Sydney show room. The lady was so lovely and helpful and the place is beautiful. I tried on a few dresses and felt amazing in all of them but felt my absolute best in the Harlow v2. I kept going back to that dress and could not compare it to any others.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

I arrived in a horse and carriage and it was my dream come true. I felt like a princess and then after getting out and walking down the isle to see my prince of a husband, it was perfect. The weather was beautiful and the reception was definitely a party! Too many good memories.

What were your favourite details?

My flowers were absolutely amazing! I have never seen anything like it. They just set the whole scene! The horse and carriage was obviously an amazing touch and the photos came out spectacular. We also had lawn games and Photobooth which was so much fun!

What advice would you tell other brides?

Do not stress on the day! What will be will be, just let it go. Have fun and make the most of it. Make sure when you are exiting the isle you have an end point otherwise you will feel lost! Don’t forget to take photos with your friends and family.
