Rachel + Conner

How did you meet?

Conner and I met through our best friends. They were convinced we were meant to be. It took a while for us to realize how much we liked each other. Once that happened, we were inseparable.

When did you know they were the one?

When Conner took me to meet his family, I fell in love with how close they were and how much he respected their opinion of me. Our relationship is one I have always dreamed of. It is built on trust, respect, and communication. Conner is my best friend and the love of my life.

Who proposed and how?

It was Conner’s birthday and we had plans to go shopping, take ‘family pictures’, and dinner. When we pulled up, Conner got a call from his mom saying that she was running late. The photographer greeted us outside and asked if she could take ‘sample pictures’ because it was sunny and she needed to find the right lighting. She took 3 pictures before Conner popped the big question! I cried tears of joy and could barely respond ‘yes’ to the easiest question I’ve ever been asked!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I fell in love with my dress at Relix Bridal in Lexington, KY. I had a feeling I would love it as soon as I saw them pulling it for me. I saved it for last because it just felt special. It was the fifth and final dress I tried on, and before my bridal consultant could even zip it up, I just knew. It is truly the most beautiful dress I’ve ever seen

What were your favourite details?

I am obsessed with the back of the Archie dress. It is so beautifully made and actually breath taking.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Don’t be afraid to say no or change something around the day of! It’s hard to do this when you have planned it so perfectly in your head, but try to relax and let things happen! It will be perfect no matter what.
