Paige + Matt
How did you meet?
This is a trick question! Matt and I met on tinder (I know, shocker!) however come to find out…we actually briefly met when I was 16. We bought our first house in 2020 which is across the street from where we met when I was 16. How weird!
When did you know they were the one?
Thanksgiving 2018…I had fallen asleep on his chest while watching a movie and when I woke up, he brushed my hair to the side and told me he loved me (for the first time!).
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
He is loving, caring, and easy going. He always puts me/his family first. He never fails to put a smile on my face, even on the worst days.
Who proposed and how?
I graduated physician assistant school December of 2020. We came home and when I went to pop the bottle of champagne, I turned around and he was on his knee. He always told me he’d propose after I finished school (I didn’t think he meant literally!).
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
I had my heart set on wearing a Made with Love dress after becoming engaged and researching dresses. I originally thought I was going to fall in love with the fitted version of Louie however when I tried on the flowy Louie, my mother-in-law and sister-in-law began to cry. When I looked in the mirror I knew it was the one!
What was the best moment for you at your wedding?
I would say saying our vows to each other in private before the ceremony. It was a very intimate moment that I will cherish forever.
What were your favourite details?
That’s such a hard question! I loved the itinerary that I created last minute. It had things like when our first date and our first kiss was. We also did a memory board for all of our loved ones who couldn’t be there on our special day. We did a date night box and instead of a guest book, my father-in-law cut down a tree and made a wooden board that everyone signed.
What advice would you tell other brides?
Don’t stress! Everything will come together perfectly. Some things will go wrong (my left ring finger nail broke on the day of my wedding and I had to rush to the nail salon) but most things will go right.
Any standout vendors?
Yes! Birch Hill Catering was amazing. Jhori jurgenson did makeup…she’s so talented! Chelsea Reed did hair. Clay and Oak made earrings: Nicole Lagoe is an amazing photographer from Syracuse, NY. Justin Allen was our videographer and celebrated with us all day and night. Simply Sunless in Dalton, MA did me and my girls tans…also amazing! They deserve so, so much praise for all that they do.
