How did you meet?

We met 14 years ago when we were only 18 and 20! Living in a small town, we met through friends and have since moved to London and have been here for 10 years.

When did you know they were the one?

We had a long distance relationship when I went to university not long after we met and this never caused an issue for us, making it clear we were meant to be!

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Funny – he never takes himself too seriously and makes me laugh a lot
Smart – he’s always teaching me about the random facts he reads
Loving – he is extremely loving and affectionate

Who proposed and how?

Rob proposed to me in November 2019 after being together for 12 years, in a small village in Surrey called Shere (where they filmed The Holiday). We go there every year for my birthday and he took me a little earlier that year.
He proposed to me on a country walk with a Haribo ring (always the joker) and then pulled the real ring out with two small bottles of champagne.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I visited the Made With Love shop in Bermondsey in London, after visiting a number of bridal stores without luck. I knew I loved your dresses from social media. I tried the Georgie v2 on first and knew straight away it was the dress and so did my sister (my mum was on FaceTime crying because I could only bring one person due to covid restrictions)

What was the best moment for your at the wedding?

This is tough, as I loved it all, but I think I’d say walking up the aisle, I just felt pure happiness.

What were your favourite details?

I loved our venue, we rented a chateau in rural France and had all our guests stay with us for a week, with the wedding falling in the middle of the week.
I also LOVED my flowers, they were so colourful and beautiful

What advice would you tell other brides?

Relax and enjoy the day, lots of things won’t go to plan but it doesn’t matter. As long as you’re happy and having fun with the people you love, that’s all that matters.

Any standout vendors?

My planner Sam (Oui Ici) was amazing and I couldn’t have done it without her.
My flowers was just a small vendor in rural France and she made them perfectly
