How did you meet?

My husband and I met through his best friend who happened to go to the same college as me. His best friend thought we would be the perfect match and he was 100% right. It was love at first sight!

When did you know they were the one?

I knew from the minute I met my husband he was the one. In fact, my husband used to have dreams when he was younger of a girl who resembled me.
We were together 11 years before getting married and managed to overcome any obstacle that was thrown at us. He is not only my husband but my partner in crime, confidant, and best friend.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

My husband is the most loyal, genuine, and humble person you will ever meet. He always puts me first above his own wants and needs and loves me unconditionally.

Who proposed and how?

My husband proposed to me on the beach in Avalon, New Jersey. He knows how much I love the beach and it’s our favorite place to spend time together. After, we met at a nearby bar with our closest friends and family to celebrate.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I saw a picture on Pinterest of the Georgie V2 lace dress and said this is the ONE. I searched for bridal shops that carried this dress and luckily Sabrina Ann Couture in West Chester, Pennsylvania had the dress in stock. It was the first dress I tried on and just like my husband it was love at first sight. My mom, sister, and mother-in-law came to the appointment with me and we’re taken back with chills and tears. I immediately knew it was the one when I initially put it on in the fitting room. I tried on a few dresses after it but nothing came nearly close to the way I felt in the Georgie V2 lace dress. Let’s just say I know what I want and there was no way I was walking down the beach aisle without trying this dress on. I love that it’s modern but yet elegant. It was the absolute perfect fit for my destination wedding in Mexico.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Without a question, my husband and I favorite and most memorable moments were sharing our own personable vows, the best man and maid of honor speeches, and dancing in the rain to “Rain on Me” by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande.

What were your favourite details?

We did a destination wedding in Mexico at the Finest Resort Playa Mujeres. I always wanted a destination wedding since I love the beach and tropical vibes. I had to convince my husband and his mind quickly changed after we were quarantined for months following Covid. It was the best decision of our lives! My vision was more of a simple yet classic look with green, white, and gold colors. I absolutely loved my triangular arch that was repurposed from the beach ceremony to the reception as the back drop to take pictures. I also loved my floral and candle centerpieces which included Italian ruscus greenery and white roses. My florist did exactly what I had envisioned. Less is more!!

What advice would you tell other brides?

Let the small things go and do what makes you and your partner happy. Not everyone has the same taste or liking as you so don’t let any judgments or opinions cloud your vision. The day comes and goes so enjoy and cherish every moment. I reminisce daily of my wedding day because it was absolutely perfect and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Any standout vendors?

All my vendors were amazing but I have to shoutout my DJ because he absolutely killed it! We did a non-traditional timeline because the one thing my husband and I wanted was lots of drinks flowing and dancing until people’s feet hurt. We had the time of our lives!
