Liz + Eric

How did you meet?

Eric and I met on bumble but the first time we met was in the hospital library. Eric was in medical school and I was in graduate school to be a nurse practitioner. We spent the entire night talking in the library, and not studying at all, before we decided to go eat in the hospital cafeteria. We spent the whole night talking about Harry Potter and I just knew this was my best friend. Six days later we were in the hospital again and a doctor I knew came up to us and I introduced Eric as my friend; he was so sad that I called him just a friend that we were official from then on.

When did you know they were the one?

I really knew Eric was the one from our first date. I had never felt so immediately comfortable with someone and like I was exactly where I was supposed to be. Eric is my absolute best friend and there is no one I’d ever rather be with and I have felt that way since the moment we started seeing each other.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

My favorite attributes of my husband is how driven, loyal and funny he is. He always strives toward his goals and is so hardworking. He loves his family and friends so much and never ceases to stop making me smile and laugh.

Who proposed and how?

Eric proposed to me in December at a holiday lights show under an arbor of lights.

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I knew my dress was the one because I didn’t want to take it off and I compared every other dress to it. The delicateness of the flowers, the ethereal flow, and flower applique; it was all just perfection. I felt so beautiful, so comfortable, and so myself. The flow of the bottom and the way it fit me was just perfect and I would choose it every time. It was just the right amount of sexiness, angelic, and class

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

My favorite moment of the wedding was seeing my husband for the first time after a long day of getting ready and anticipation. After seeing him, I immediately felt a sense of calm and comfortability and I was ready for the rest of the day, night, and everything as long as he was by my side.

What were your favourite details?

The florals, the mountains, the scenery; it just all blended together seamlessly.

What advice would you tell other brides?

Don’t sweat small things! You are likely the only one who will notice. Just breathe and enjoy the moment!
