How did you meet?

Daniel sent me a DM over Instagram actually. After a few months we finally met up for dinner and I instantly fell in love & the rest is history! So thank you Instagram!!

When did you know they were the one?

I knew he was the one when he asked me to move to Italy with him for his hockey career, he said “I can’t do this without you” and without hesitation I said yes!!

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He always prioritizes myself and our dog Thor, his compassion and determination towards his job & how he always focuses on the good! He always has me looking on the brighter side of things.

Who proposed and how?

He did! We went for a scenic walk and next thing I know he was down on one knee, I was hoping he would propose the summer that he did, but I didn’t see it coming at all!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

Oh my what a story I have about my dress. I loved the Archie dress as soon as I saw it online it was on my vision board, I was obsessed.
I was looking for dresses in Italy and actually bought a dress in Milan and about a week later I cancelled the order. Deep down I knew this dresses wasn’t for me, I still wanted the Archie!! I went on MWL website and saw a ready to wear Archie dress in nearly my exact measurements and knew it was meant to be!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

We had a first look and I don’t regret it at all. I felt so calm once I finally saw him but the best moment was seeing him at the altar waiting for me, I can still picture it – it was still so emotional and a memory I’ll forever replay in my head and cherish!

What were your favourite details?

Probably my reception set up, I was blown away! I love love loved our florals, I went for a boho chic theme and it was just stunning for a winery venue!

What advice would you tell other brides?

My biggest piece of advice is that it really does all come together in the end, the day was better than I could have ever imagined! Your vendors put so much time and effort into making it perfect for you as a bride so really just trust them and trust the process of it all!
