How did you meet?

We met in 2013 here in Norway where we are residing right now. We´re both from the Philippines who transferred here in Norway and are now Norwegian Citizens. So we met for the first time in Church and our love story started there.

When did you know they were the one?

I knew that he was the one when I’ve already gotten to know him well. How he loves his family and how our relationship just progressed and matured smoothly. When I can already see and picture my future with him 🙂

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

1. God-fearing
2. Family oriented
3. Optimistic and genuine

Who proposed and how?

It was the most beautiful sunset ever, he proposed to me last year on July 14, 2021 at a beach in Stavanger, Norway. We were on a summer vacation together with some of our friends and his siblings, and all of them knew his plan of proposing on this trip.

So they told me that we were going to have a sunset photoshoot at the beach and I was not expecting anything since we always do random photoshoots (since one of our friends who’s on this trip is a photographer). Then we had couple shoots, one of the shots was me looking afar to the beautiful sunset and when asked to turn I saw him kneeling down. I was speechless and so taken aback that I just stared at him and cried happy tears. Then he asked me to marry him, and informed me that he already called my parents who are in the Philippines to ask for their blessing. I was so grateful and super emotional since he knows how important it is for me that he asks my mom and dad’s blessing first. So I said yes and the rest is history 🙂

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I book an appointment at White by Green in Oslo, Norway in November 2021. I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with a dress on my 1st appointment but wow I knew that I found my perfect dress immediately after trying the 5th dress. Marcus from White by Green knew that I love form-fitting gowns and lace, so that was the theme of the appointment. While trying on the dresses that I initially thought that I would like, I was staring at this beautiful dress with laces all over hanging inside my fitting room thinking it’s so weird that Marcus even considered this since it’s an A-line dress. But I’m so thankful that he made me try on the Elsie flowy dress because I didn’t even picture myself with that silhouette and I loved it immediately. The Elsie flowy was such a dream! It is the perfect representation of a romantic, modern yet classic dress. I loved every detail of it! Even the detachable shoulder bows and the pockets!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

The best moment for me was my walk down the aisle. When the door opened, I just felt so beautiful in my dress and felt so grateful to see my whole family and of course my now husband staring at and waiting for me. When I began walking towards him, I just felt like the most beautiful version of myself and nothing beats that feeling.

What were your favourite details?

The Elsie flowy was like a dream! For me, it is the perfect representation of a romantic, modern yet classic dress. I loved every detail of it! Specially the low back detail, most beautiful laces I’ve seen, detachable shoulder bows and the pockets!

What advice would you tell other brides?

That you will find your perfect wedding dress even in the most unexpected moment. Have an open mind and heart to try new things and you will be the most beautiful on your wedding day no matter what. Enjoy the process on finding your dream dress.
