How did you meet?
We met in a nightclub in Bristol UK in 2015. We didn’t officially get together until 2017 once Sam had returned from travelling!
When did you know they were the one?
After moving to the UK together for 2 years. We lived in London together. Lived together, worked together and travelled together for 2 years straight, I knew if we could get through that together he would be the one!
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
He is the kindest soul I have ever met.
He will do absolutely anything for me and anyone he cares and loves.
He is the most selfless person and will put my happiness before his own.
Who proposed and how?
Sam proposed to me in July 2020 which was peak pandemic. We were supposed to be in Amsterdam but due to COVID it got cancelled so he improvised and took me for a dog walk up to the Clifton suspension bridge in Bristol and proposed, it was a complete surprise.
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
I fell in love with my dress at the White Collection in Portishead. I always knew I didn’t want a strapless dress but the girls in the shop I should just try Penny to rule out the style so I did reluctantly. Little did I know I would love it so much and end up saying yes to the dress.
What was the best moment for you at your wedding?
The whole day was perfect, from start to finish. My favourite moment was seeing the room and how beautiful it was decorated. I loved seeing my vision come to life and it bought a tear to my eye. Also seeing Sams face as I walked down the aisle was an absolute memory I will never forget.
What were your favourite details?
Our flowers!!!! They were impeccable! Such a statement and made the venue look absolutely incredible!
What advice would you tell other brides?
Enjoy every moment. All of the stress and money is worth it. Take 5 minutes away with your partner to embrace the day as it goes in a flash!
Any standout vendors?
Our florists – Seventh Heaven Events and our photographer. Our flowers made the vision come to life but working with such a talented photographer to capture the day so we can relive it the day over and over was truly a blessing!!
