How did you meet?

Both studied graphic design and met at design college over 10 years ago. We got together after we graduated and have been together 9 years when we got married.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

Kind hearted, funny & loving.

Who proposed and how?

On the eve of my 30th birthday. I always said I wanted to be engaged by the time i was 30 so he made it happen 😉

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I actually had my heart set on the Harlow but the lace ended up being a little too traditional . I wanted a dress that was a mix between modern and traditional and couldn’t find anything suitable until I tried on the Louie. It was the PERFECT mix of modern and traditional. The beautiful lace detail was simply stunning. I had sooo many comments saying the dress was so unique.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Walking down the aisle. A surreal moment I did not think I would be emotional but as soon as i got to the beginning of the aisle I just burst into tears. Seeing all our family and friends was quite emotional and surreal.

What were your favourite details?

Our beautiful wedding venue Merribee. Although torrential rain the days prior, we had to opt for wet weather plans which I was feeling a bit down and disappointed about. turns out it would not have been better. We had to opt for a wet weather alternative as the grass paddock we originally to be married was to wet.

Also we originally wanted an outdoor reception under the trees, but we were forced to set up in the indoor barn. Honestly it worked out for the best… it didn’t rain in the evening so with the reception indoors, after the wedding, we were able to utilize the inside and outside. such a beautiful moment

Any standout vendors?

Thomas Stewart our photographer was THE BEST! An absolutely legend of a guy… extremely passionate about his art but also a super down to earth nice guy! He made us feel so much at ease through the day,

Also my Makeup Artist Megan Vaughan from Makeup by Megan was amazing. A beautiful natural radiant look and I felt my best on the day.
