How did you meet?

We met on an online dating app (bumble).

When did you know they were the one?

6 months into our relationship I knew he was the one because he kept talking about how excited he was for his family to meet me and my son so we decided to move in together even though I was so nervous but extremely excited.

What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?

He is the most caring and generous person. With not only me, but to all our family and friends.
Ever so loving.
Funny. Will make anyone laugh even if the joke is awful haha.

Who proposed and how?

Alex proposed. He had planned a trip to the beach, nothing fancy because he wasn’t too sure what I wanted. He hid the ring in a bag with a bottle of champagne that he was going to bring out later. After a few minutes he remembered that he had ‘forgotten’ his phone in the car and went to grab the bag. Even though he had the bag with him, he was still too nervous to go through with it. BUT when a couple of dolphins swam a few meters away from us, he knew that then that it was a sign to do it. He got on one knee and muttered “do you want to marry me?” shaking and I screamed and cried so much that I didn’t give him an answer but kind of did. It was so sweet but so funny at the same time that we cried and laughed together. It was the best day!!!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

I had fallen in love with Ryder Crepe on the MWL Instagram page and knew straight away that it was the one so I had to get to the Sydney showroom to try it on. Tried it and bought it on the same day.

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

Seeing Alex at the alter. I was so nervous because God knows how much I hate it when people stare at me but that day, we locked eyes and it made me so, so happy and so excited to marry the man of my dreams. And sharing our vows!

What were your favourite details?

The ceremony and reception set up, my dress, the men in their suits, my bridesmaids in their beautiful dresses….just everything!

What advice would you tell other brides?

It may be very stressful and a lot of work goes into wedding planning BUT enjoy it as much as you can because before you know it, the day is over just like that.
