Kim + Gregg
How did you meet?
We met in college, we were both on the respective lacrosse teams and hung around the same groups. Our relationship naturally moved from friendship to a romantic relationship!
When did you know they were the one?
When I couldn’t imagine the big milestones, and even the little moments, in my life without him.
What are your three favourite attributes of your partner?
His intelligence, his passion for everything he does and his sense of humor
Who proposed and how?
Gregg proposed to me in Battery Park City in NYC, at my favorite spot along the Hudson River Esplanade. We were on one of our many walks down the esplanade, Gregg stopped walking, told me how much he loved me, and proposed. I was then surprised to see a photographer appear from around the corner and we proceeded to take pictures. We were then met by our families, we went to dinner and afterwards some of our friends met us to celebrate! It was the perfect way to kick off our engagement!
Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?
I fell in love with Tommy on Instagram. I arrived at Lovely Bride NYC and I tried a few dresses on before Tommy, but once I put it on, I knew it was the dress I was meant to wear!
What was the best moment for you at your wedding?
The best moment was when my husband and I sat down at our sweetheart table for dinner and looked out at all our guests. It was the moment we were both able to take a minute to appreciate all the love we had around us.
What advice would you tell other brides?
Make sure you have all the help you need so that you can fully enjoy the wedding day/weekend once it arrives!
