When did you know they were the one?

We took a trip to Yellowstone in the fall and we were driving through the mountains listening to Dean Martin. I looked over at him and knew in that moment there was no one else I could share that moment with and there was no one else I wanted to share any kind of moment like that with. On that trip he asked me to move in with him. Based on me moving out of my place I told him we’d wait to move in until the new year. Once we got back from the trip, I ended up unpacking at his place and just never left

Who proposed and how?

He proposed to me. I knew it was coming but had no idea how it was going to happen. We went camping one weekend, which of course was the only weekend I thought it was not happening that weekend. The day was super stormy and windy so we stayed in the camper most of the day. It cleared for about 30 minutes and was sunny and beautiful! We went outside and our friends placed themselves to take pictures. I turned around and he was down on one knee. I can’t even remember all of the amazing things he said but it was the easiest yes of my life!

Where did you fall in love with your dress and why?

We were planning on eloping in Hawaii so I knew I wouldn’t have the option to get many different dresses. I went a few places and tried on some dresses but wasn’t in love with any of them. I was looking online one night and came across the Ryder dress on Pinterest and fell in love! I did some digging and found the Ryder in my size on the MWL website. I thought it would be a long shot but I emailed the company it was still available! I ordered it and it came in time and fit like a glove! I have never felt so beautiful in my life!!

What was the best moment for you at your wedding?

After our small beach wedding, our family all left while we took pictures with the photographer. With just the two of us, my fiancé and I read the vows we wrote to each other. We also did our first dance with just two of us on the beach. I told him to surprise me with the song we would dance to and he chose Harvest Moon by Neil Young. Dancing with the love of my life on a beach in Hawaii at sunset is a memory I will never ever forget!!
